The Geminian Rants…not this time.
Instead of the usual rant or radical solution for today’s even more radical problems, today I have for your Scrutinity, a new word.
“But how can The Geminian be sure?” you ask? After all, I suggested that I MAY have invented one in a blog earlier today. I received a comment almost immediately that I had not and it seemed he or she was right as he or she had already done the research for me. So it is to you the task is bestowed to best my assertion, it would seem. I had never used the word before, and never read or heard it used, it came to me as I needed it, an Immaculate Conception. Alas, it was disappointing to hear the word had already been invented.
AND SO IT GOES AND IT WAS, OUT OF THE RUBBLE, THE PHOENIX THAT IS THE GEMINIAN, ROSE FROM HIS SMITED INTELLECTUAL ASHES, (ever hear those last two words used in tandem?) and offered up for you two new words.
The first I already used in this blog. I will let you find and rebut that one, if you are interested. A pronoun? Adjective? A title, associated with the elevated perception of intelligence some acquire when observing someone or something for the purposes of criticism. Snap!
The second is a word I came up with when observing a trend in our great land that I propose is at the core of our deteriorating society, it is that we Competify all aspects of our interactions with each other, on almost every level. Competify, that is, the act of taking an event or action that is not normally competitive and making it so. A verb?
