I do agree though. I get frustrated even watching Ghost Hunters lately. The eerie music drowns out the little noises the investigators supposedly hear. Ok. Maybe that's done because there really wasn't a noise, but still. Music drowing out the actors voices ruins too many shows and movies. You could try complaining to a producer, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it fell on deaf ears.

I wish some actors today would do that so we could hear over the music. Sometimes, they sound as though they are whispering. I think it's worse at the theatres than at home, which started to limit us wanting to go to the movies. At least with my TV I can play with the volume settings. Even then, sometimes my husband and I will look at each other and ask, "what did s/he say?". I know many of the movie sountracks draw in popular bands and singers, but I really don't want to feel frustrated over not knowing what an actor said because of it. And I was one of the quiet ones that had to yell to be heard for plays.
