Deadline is Over - Need a Brain Vacation

I think it is important to rest your brain. I got four hours of sleep last night and went to bed as the sun was rising. I am thinking of taking some time off so that I can clean my house and go to the mall and test out perfumes. Or maybe I’ll go for a long walk.

After finally getting that crazy assignment done, I am not sure I will be able to get a lot done today even though I still have something I need to tend to this week.

I think I had a dream that I took up painting and it seemed like fun. Maybe I’ll do that!

  1. You need to leave time for fun, I agree. Yesterday a friend rang me and invited me for a spur of the moment lunch, so I said ‘what the heck’ and went. I will have to make up the time at some point, but we had a great time and I felt very relaxed.

  2. Ya I agree. I am meeting my sis at the mall and I fully plan on applying all the makeup Sephora has to offer me and perhaps buying a nice satsuma scented lotion from the body shop. :)

  4. It was a very good girlie day! Thanks. I bought some cute shirts at a store called Forever 21 and some lotions at Victoria’s Secret and The Body Shop.

  5. I’m in Canada and we don’t have a Victoria Secret up here yet but everyone knows that their Love Spell lotion is my favourite so people buy it for me when they visit the U.S. I now have 4 or 5 bottles stashed, lol.

  6. I recently went to a music festival- crashed at the end of it, and when I recovered from the crash I was more productive than ever.

Plus, isn’t there some sort of study about pleasant scents enhancing creativity? Maybe it’s just endorphins, but either way sniffing perfume is probably a productive use of time! Enjoy your time off!

  7. I didn’t realize that there were no victoria’s secrets in Canada.

Wordvixen, I like how you justified my mall visit! :)

  8. and I can justify anything! :) Remember, chocolate releases endorphins and is packed with antioxidants.
